RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Every member of the school community should take part in
maintaining cleanliness of the school surroundings
2. To be considerate is to be silent along corridors and
being able to move around the classroom with a minimum level
of noise.
3. Wearing of jewelry for everyday use is discouraged for
security reasons.
4. Bringing large amounts of money, toys, sports and
electronic equipment to school is strictly prohibited unless
it has been required and duly noted in the Handbook by the
Adviser as part of a school-related activity. Beepers and
cellular phones are allowed in school, provided that they
are turned off during class hours and conspicuously hung
around the neck throughout the Duration of the school day.
The use of beepers and cellular phones during class hours is
likewise prohibited. Any violation of this provision will
result in the suspension or revocation of the student’s
beeper or cellular phone privileges for the entire school
year.
5. Vandalism, fighting, truancy, petty theft, any form of
substance abuse, uttering profane words and insubordination
are considered serious offense and are subject to
disciplinary action and/or exclusion from the roll or
Enrolment in the following school year as evaluated or
deemed by the School Head.
6. Membership in the Fraternities and Sororities outside the
school is Strictly prohibited. Any student found out to be a
member of such organizations shall be subjected to a stern
warning to sever all ties and associations with such. A
repetition of the former will warrant
SCHOOL POLICIES ON BEHAVIOR
We believe that basic behavior, training courtesy and
respect for parents and elders, as well as courtesy and
respect for person and property of others must originate
from the home and hence, be in practice at all times in
school and everywhere else. The Student will at all times
use proper expressions for greeting and excusing oneself.
Proper behavior and decorum in action and speech must be
observed in and out of school premises at all times.
Therefore, any student guilty of conduct unbecoming, public
displays of affection, misdemeanors, disturbance of peace,
any form of sun\bstance abuse in public places even beyond
school hours will be subject to disciplinary action and
exclusion from the enrolment in the following school year.
The school will, at all times, attempt to supplement this
training in all dealings with the students.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Students are required to repair, replace or reimburse any
damage to any property of the school or schoolmates. Cases
are handled individually.
DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Rules and regulations contained in this Handbook must be
strictly observed. Should undesirable behavior persist after
warnings from the Adviser, the student may be grounded y
assigning additional activities related to the subject
matter on hand or privileges such as play time may be
curtailed. A student may be suspended by the School Head if
the behavior problem continues even after consultation with
parents and teachers.
HONESTY
Honesty on the part of the student must be manifested in and
out of the classroom. Any student caught cheating in any
manner gets an automatic zero in the activity, quiz, or
test. Repetition of such acts warrants a suspension and/or
exclusion from enrolment in the following year.
PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE
Punctual means being inside school grounds in time to attend
the Flag Ceremony. Any time thereafter is considered late.
Punctuality is a matter of conscience and responsibility on
the part of the both the student and the home. A visit to
the School Office is required of every pupil who is late for
the class to present the Excuse Slip duly filled up and
signed by the Parent/Guardian, and which must be
countersigned by a duly authorized person. The school
reserves the right to refuse admittance to students who
fails to come to school before the 15 minutes grace period
for the day. Habitual tardiness will be subjected to
disciplinary action.
Prompt and regular attendance in all classes and school
activities is required of all pupils. Skipping or cutting
classes will warrant immediate suspension the following day
whereby the parent/guardian must accompany the student to
the SchoolHead’s Office on the day following the suspension
for readmission. A student guilty of this offense 3 times
will be automatically dropped from the roll.
ABSENCES
A student should present an excuse slip after an absence
from classes to the Adviser which must bear the signature of
his/her parent/ authorized guardian. The school must be
informed of the reason/s should a student be absent for a
long period of time. However, a pupil with 10 consecutive
absences without notice is automatically dropped. The
allowed number of absences shall be 10% of the total number
of class days whether excused or unexcused, and he school
will allow 15% in very grave matters only.
